Steel disk with tungsten-carbide (Widia) fine gravel. Spread over on both sides. Grit 14. Extremely coarse, sharp and long, protruding grain. Wear resistant and hard soldered. Ideal for the renovating, because sticking adhesive remains can be removed. Witte recommends to spread sand over old glue. This impairs the adhesion of glue to the disc.
