The excess height of welding rod left over in first pass of cutting is determinated by the thicknes of the spacer claw. Standard is the 0,5 mm thickness. I you feel, that the excess is no enough for a clean second pass, replace the 0,5 mm by the 0,7 mm spacer claw. Do not lose the spring washer!
